Easy Bathroom Makeover

You can update a bathroom for under $500 if you know what to look for.
First choose a style and color.

Focus on existing cabinets. Either paint them ($20), or update them by changing the hardware (handles, knobs, hinges, $35-65).

Choose matching fixtures for your sink ($65) and tub/shower ($150) Keep it simple, chrome is inexpensive if you're planning on moving soon.

Finally, replace the old lighting fixture over the mirror ($55) and the fan ($85) too, if needed.
